In the first quarter the Hawks found themselves leading by 5 at the start as 5 quick points were scored on the Snippers bad defence. By the end of the quarter the score was 15-12 in the Hawks favour.
In the second quarter the Hawks defence led to them being outscored as no one on the Hawks team could grab a rebound over the Snippers players. The Hawks ended up being down by 10 in the second quarter(score – 32-22).
In the second half of the game the Hawks yet again couldn’t grab a lot of rebounds and that caused them a lot of trouble. But they still put up a fight and were down by 13 going into the fourth quarter with the score being 46-33.
At the start of the fourth quarter the Hawks knew the game could come down to the wire so they tried their hardest to make the score gap smaller and they did. The end few minutes found the Hawks trying to strategically foul so they can claim possession after the 2 shots by the other team. The Hawks did end up losing by six point to the Stortford Snippers with the score being 54-48.
