JCVL Team Trials

JCVL TEAM Trials for 2026-27 season

Below are the dates of when the JCVL team trials will be taking place during May 2026 for the various age groups. The JCVL (Junior Central Venue League) is hosted in Harlow with a number of external clubs involved in each age group.

Not everyone will make the JCVL teams but attending trials will enable players to experience them and see what they are like. Any players who were on the JCVL teams during this season are not guaranteed to be on the teams for the next season, as it will depend on how they do at trials. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THAT ATTENDS THE TRIALS.

By the end of  Tues 14th April (if not earlier) – there will be links setup in Parent’s Corner next to each group for parents to complete a trial sign-up form. Any players wanting to attend trials must complete this form by the deadline indicated after the links for the forms go live. This will help the coaches to prepare for the trials based on the numbers that will be attending. Once that date has passed then the links to the sign-up forms will be removed.

 

Cost: It will be one £10 payment to attend both the trial dates. This will need to be paid by the training session before the trial date (Cash payment in an envelope with Child’s name and age group trialling for on it e.g  T. Rials – U11 trials)

 

NOTE FOR ALL PARENTS:

  • Please have a look at the General Rules under Club Rules section as some parts apply specifically to players if they are selected for the JCVL teams
  • If your child is selected for the JCVL teams, there are number of roles that we require parents to fill in order for the teams to run successfully. If your child is selected and you accept a place on the team, then if parents do not voluntarily step forward the roles will have to be performed by all the parents on the team on a rotation basis, meaning you will realistically probably only need to do it maybe once\twice for the whole season
  • After all teams have been selected and places accepted, we will organise a single meeting with all the parents to go over the roles required to be filled by parents so that people understand what is required and then can decide between them which option will work for everyone. This is to avoid the various situations we had during this season with miscommunication and somethings not being covered.
  • *** Only the players that have been selected will be emailed ***. This could be between 7-10 days after the last trial date. We will post in Parents Corner that emails have been sent out, so please avoid emailing to ask.
  • If your child is not selected then please note that we are planning on organising game nights for all age groups so that all players get to in game setup as part of their development so that if they are selected in the future they are already familiar with game rules\play etc.

 

Trial dates:

U11’s – currently in school years 3-5 – REG FORM LIVE UNTIL 9pm on Sat 9th May

NOTE: The U11 JCVL team training sessions take place on a Saturday afternoon 4:10-5:20pm at Harlow Leisurezone.

Tues 12th May – 6-7:50pm at Harlow Leisurezone

Sun 17th May – 11:30am-1:15pm at Mark Hall Sportcentre

 

U14’s – currently in school years 6-8 – REG FORM LIVE UNTIL 9pm on Sat 2nd May

NOTE: The U11 JCVL team training sessions take place on a Saturday afternoon 4pm-5:30pm at Harlow Leisurezone

Tues 5th May – 6-7:50pm at Harlow Leisurezone

Sun 10th May – 11:30am-1:20pm at Mark Hall Sportcentre

 

U17/18’s – currently in school years 9-12 – REG FORM LIVE UNTIL 9pm on Sat 2nd May.

NOTE: The U17/18 JCVL team training sessions take place on a Monday evening 8:30-10pm at Stewards Academy.

Tues 5th May – 8:10-10pm at Harlow Leisurezone

Sun 10th May – 2pm-3:50pm at Mark Hall Sportcentre
